About: Symposium 2006 - April 28 & 29
Welcome to the annual undergraduate showcase of talent presented by the University of Hawaii, Mānoa. We are dedicated to enriching the education of undergraduates with integrated research opportunities and creative endeavors. Who can Participate Undergraduates enrolled at any of the University of Hawaii campuses who are currently working on, or have accomplished, a research or creative project under the supervision of a faculty member or other expert are invited to participate. All disciplines are welcome. How to Participate Your registration form must be submitted online by Friday, April 7, 2006 at midnight. Required materials include: your contact information, a 250-word (or less) abstract of your work, names and emails of co-authors and mentors, and a selection of how you are going to participate with a poster, oral presentation, or both. You may go to the registration form now. The Symposium will take place Saturday, April 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the East-West Center's Hawaii Imin International Conference Center. Undergraduates from UH Mānoa and other campuses in the UH System will make oral and/or poster presentations of their research work or creative projects. There will also be a special time for poster viewing on Friday, April 28th, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Keoni Auditorium in the Conference Center.

We have the support of the Offices of the Mānoa Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and the Vice Chancellor for Research. Schedule of Talks Approximately one week before the Symposium we will publish the schedule of oral presentations on Saturday. The schedule shows who is speaking in each room during each 15-minute period. It also provides a link to each speaker's abstract, as well as a listing of room moderators.
